Bruce is a 1979 graduate of Rutgers University where he double majored in economics and political science, graduating with highest honors and a Bachelor of Arts. In 1983, he graduated from Rutgers/Camden Law School with honors and a Juris Doctorate and was admitted to the New Jersey Bar.
Bruce initially worked for the personal injury firm, Shebell and Shebell. In 1985, he became associated with the firm Karasic, Stone and Susser where he was eventually named a partner in the firm of Karacic, Stone, Susser, Nelson and Fromer. In 1988, he and Steven E. Nelson left to form their own firm – Nelson & Fromer originally located in Allenhurst, NJ and thereafter-in Ocean Township.
Bruce’s primary focus is civil litigation, with a specialty in the area of personal injury. He has been a champion of victim’s rights and assisting those who are rendered injured and/or disabled as a result of the tortious conduct of others. It is his Life’s Mission.
Bruce has sat on several County Bar Association Committees. Currently, he is member of the Statewide Fee Arbitration Committee, The Deal Lake Commission, where he serves as the custodian of Deal Lake, one of Monmouth County’s unique and beautiful natural resources. Bruce also serves on the Executive Committee for the Boys and Girls Club of Monmouth County. He is also involved with community service through St. Michael’s Church, Long Branch NJ, where he is a communicant.
Bruce currently lives in Allenhurst with his family.
