Charles M. Crocco
Chuck obtained his undergraduate degree from Montclair University in 1993. After college, he continued his education at the Quinnipiac School of Law in Hamden, Connecticut and graduated in 1996. During law school, Chuck worked for the Office of the Public Defender, The Honorable Samuel Freedman in the New Haven Superior Court, The Law Offices of Frankel, Thornberry & Olayos in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and for the Connecticut State’s Attorney’s Office. Following Law School graduation in 1996, Chuck passed the New Jersey Bar Exam the same year and was appointed a judicial law clerk in the Monmouth County Superior Court for The Honorable John P. Arnone, The Honorable John A. Ricciardi, and the Honorable Paul F. Chaiet.
Chuck is admitted to the New Jersey State Bar and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. Upon completion of his judicial clerkship in 1997, he joined the Firm of Nelson & Fromer in Neptune, New Jersey, where he specializes in representing those who have been injured, either at work or as a result of negligence of others.
In 2007, Chuck became a Certified Trial Attorney. A Certified Trial Attorney is a designation granted by the New Jersey Supreme Court to attorneys who are able to demonstrate sufficient levels of experience, education, knowledge, and skill in civil practice. A certified attorney is more than just an attorney who specializes in an area of law. A New Jersey attorney who is certified by the Supreme Court as a civil trial attorney must have: (1) been a member in good standing of the New Jersey Bar for at least 5 years; (2) fulfilled ongoing continuing legal education courses; (3) demonstrated a substantial level of experience in civil trial law; (4) been favorably evaluated by other attorneys and judges familiar with his work; and (5) taken and passed written examination in civil trial law. As of August 1999, of the approximately 68,700 lawyers in New Jersey, only 1,450 were board certified. In addition to being a Certified Civil Trial Attorney, Chuck has served as an investigator for the Monmouth County Ethics Committee and has served on the Monmouth County Civil Practice Committee.
Chuck currently resides in East Brunswick, New Jersey with his wife and two children.
